Home Transition Specialist
Part Time, Project Based
Greater Boston and MetroWest Areas
As a Home Transition Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting clients through major life transitions, including downsizing, relocation, and home organization. This position requires a mix of planning, hands-on assistance, and compassionate client care. You will be working closely with seniors, families, and our team to ensure smooth transitions while upholding our company’s high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Coordination: Work directly with clients and their families to develop customized transition plans that address their unique needs and concerns.

Downsizing & Organizing: Assist with sorting, decluttering, and organizing belongings to prepare for a move or rightsizing a home.

Move Management: Packing and unpacking, coordination with movers, and setup in the new home, ensuring a seamless transition.

Estate Clear-Outs, Online Sales & Donations: Assist with handling estate sales and online auctions, donations, and disposal of unneeded items.

Vendor Coordination: Work with moving companies, estate sale professionals, realtors, and other service providers to facilitate a smooth process.

Emotional Support & Advocacy: Provide compassionate assistance, recognizing the emotional challenges that come with life transitions.
Qualifications
-
Experience in senior relocation, professional organizing, moving services, or a related field preferred, but not required. Will train the right individuals.

Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with packing and moving.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Greater Boston & Metrowest areas.

A patient, compassionate, and client-centered approach.
-
A good sense of humor is a must! Moving can be stressful, and a little lightheartedness goes a long way.

Must be able to pass a background check.
