Open Position

Move Manager

Part Time

We are currently seeking an organized individual to join our team as a part-time Move Manager. This position is project-based to help with a variety of different client-facing projects. This role will start out as a part-time role, but has the potential to turn into a full time position with the company. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients in an ongoing basis, answer questions, foster client relationships.

  • Sort and organize various items, including documents, photographs, personal belongings, and household items.

  • Collaborate with the onsite move manager and clients to identify and determine which items are to be kept, donated, or disposed of.

  • Pack and unpack personal items for moving and relocation projects.

  • Manage third party vendors onsite at client locations.

  • Assist the move manager with logging inventory, tracking project costs, and coordinating with service providers when necessary.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a positive demeanor when interacting with clients.

  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail.

  • Open-minded and non-judgmental attitude towards clients, their belongings and their situations.

  • Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

  • Demonstrates empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Availability to work in flexible blocks of time.

  • Reliable transportation for commuting to different client locations in the MetroWest area.

  • Access to email and a cell phone for texting and communication purposes.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
